Take your most convenient route to Hwy. 51. From the south, take a left on Blue Lake Road (between Hazelhurst and Minocqua). Follow Blue Lake Road (a designated Rustic Road) approximately 7 miles to Driftwood Place and travel 1 mile to Driftwood Lodge.

Traveling down Blue Lake Road from Hwy. 51 you will see the first area school. A short distance further you will cross a railroad bed that was used in the 1800′s as a main source of entry and exit to Minocqua. This railroad bed has now been converted to a hike/bike trail (the Bearskin Trail).

Blue Lake Road skirts many area lakes while it meanders through thick pines and hardwood forests.  The Tomahawk River entertains canoeists and naturalists alike. There is an ideal location for landing or retrieving a canoe where Blue Lake Road intersects the river.

Another route to Driftwood Lodge is from the intersection of Hwys. 51 & 70 West. Go west on Hwy. 70 4.5 miles to Mercer Lake Road. Turn left on Mercer Lake Road (a designated Rustic Road) and follow it 3.25 miles to Driftwood Place. Turn right and travel 1 mile to Driftwood Lodge. Mercer Lake Road offers the same Northwoods beauty as Blue Lake Rd.
